Decision Scientist (Payments)

Location: Hybrid work with two recommended office days per week. Remote workation is available for up to 90 days per year in the EU, including up to 21 days globally; non-EU citizens can work worldwide for up to 21 days per year.

What you will do

• Partner with stakeholders across hirify.global Payments to identify strategic opportunities and answer critical business questions.
• Provide data-driven recommendations and evaluate opportunities using statistical methods and visualisation tools.
• Select, calculate, and monitor key performance indicators while investigating issues and root causes.
• Build self-service dashboards that help teams and stakeholders generate business insights independently.
• Promote analytics and decision-making best practices across the organisation.

Requirements

• Experience in decision science or data analytics.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a focus on business impact.
• Familiarity with SQL and Python.
• Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Knowledge of statistical methods including A/B testing, regression analysis, and inferential techniques.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.
