Senior UX Designer (Game UX)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid

Develops, publishes, and live-operates mobile, web, PC, and console games, including a large portfolio of global interactive entertainment experiences.

What you will do

• Shape UX design principles, practices, and standards for Star Trek Fleet Command.
• Own UX design for new features and player experiences from concept through implementation.
• Create sketches, low- to medium-fidelity wireframes, user flows, and interactive UX prototypes.
• Research references and competing experiences to identify inspiration and common design pitfalls.
• Apply critical thinking, player perspectives, feedback, and data to strengthen design solutions.
• Collaborate with product teams, game designers, and artists throughout development while supporting long-term UX consistency.

Requirements

• Extensive experience specializing in game UX development.
• Track record of delivering game features or initiatives from concept to implementation.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, identify blockers, determine next steps, and take initiative.
• Strong understanding of game development norms, pipelines, technical constraints, implementation realities, and cross-discipline workflows.
• Passion for playing and making games, with a player-centered and solutions-oriented approach.
• Résumé/CV must be written in English.
