Product Security Engineer, Vulnerability Intelligence (Cybersecurity)

Location: USA - Remote, TX; candidates must work solely from U.S. soil

Salary: $120,000–$180,000 per year, plus bonus and equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Analyze emerging vulnerabilities, exploitability, business risk, and remediation priorities.
• Develop data-driven vulnerability prioritization frameworks aligned with business risk tolerance.
• Implement and monitor asset detection and visibility systems across multiple clouds and data centers.
• Maintain vulnerability management KPIs and communicate security posture to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Use Falcon features to improve security posture and provide feedback to product teams.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency and the ability to work solely from U.S. soil.
• 5–7+ years of applicable experience implementing and supporting security systems.
• Experience researching CVEs, assessing exploit availability, and using threat intelligence to evaluate real-world impact.
• Strong scripting or development skills in Python, Golang, Ruby, Chef, or similar languages.
• Experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.
• Experience with Linux or Unix-like systems, GCP, and highly concurrent systems, plus strong cross-functional communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications.
• Experience assessing software supply chain risks, open-source vulnerabilities, and third-party dependencies.
• Hands-on Falcon experience and collaboration with developers on vulnerability remediation.
