Plant QA Supervisor (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Supervise quality audits, inspections, and adherence to established quality systems.
• Oversee raw-material blending, mineral-batch production, and mineral inventory management.
• Manage laboratory activities, including microbiological testing of finished products and environmental monitoring.
• Lead internal audits covering sanitation, GMPs, and machine operations.
• Investigate non-conformances, perform root-cause and corrective-action activities, and resolve operational problems.
• Oversee safety team activities and provide backup support to the QA Manager on food safety and quality matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality, Biological Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least four years of experience in the field or a similar manufacturing environment.
• At least four years of experience in the position and managing people or projects.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
• Preferred certifications include HACCP or SQF.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Food Science, Quality, Biological Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
• Six years of experience in the field, the position, and managing people or projects.
