Salary: $34.55–$55.19 per hour, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do
- Support underwriting and management of cash-flow and asset-based loans of at least $25 million for the national Food & Beverage platform.
- Assist with due diligence for manufacturers, processors, distributors, grocers, and other borrowers across the Food & Beverage value chain.
- Analyze historical and projected financial statements and build dynamic three-statement financial models.
- Prepare credit memorandums, approval memorandums, and credit risk recommendations.
- Monitor borrower portfolios through monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews of performance, risk ratings, repayment capacity, and covenants.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams on credit operations and ad hoc organizational priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of progressively increasing credit underwriting and portfolio management experience in a relevant industry.
- Intermediate experience in credit management and lending operations, ideally including 3+ years of underwriting.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles, credit quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Intermediate analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in the office in New York City, Los Angeles, Walnut Creek, or San Francisco.
