Release/DevOps Engineer

What you will do

• Automate provisioning, configuration, installation, monitoring, and environment changes across Windows and Linux systems.
• Maintain consistent software versions, configuration standards, server setups, and environment availability.
• Manage change and release processes, facilitate Change Advisory Board meetings, and identify risks and dependencies.
• Deploy and roll back releases during approved operational windows while improving release cycle times and removing blockers.
• Troubleshoot operational issues, escalate risks, and participate in the weekend on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, and Network Security teams to maintain production and system reliability.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux servers, terminal environments, custom Windows services, and IIS websites.
• Experience with AWS, Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation or Terraform, and provisioning with Ansible.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes/EKS and experience with GitLab CI or a similar CI/CD platform.
• Scripting experience with Bash, PowerShell, or Python, plus basic networking knowledge covering protocols, ports, firewall rules, and subnetting.
• Good command of English and willingness to participate in weekend on-call rotation.
