Senior AI Researcher (Computer Vision/Autonomous Driving): Building world models and video foundation models that understand real-world driving, predict trajectories and motion, and identify dangerous situations before accidents with an accent on large-scale video data, self-supervised learning, and simulation. Focus on leading independent research, designing fast experiments, analyzing failures, and turning advanced models into reliable real-world systems.
Location: Hybrid in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel

What you will do
- Lead AI research from early ideas through working models and practical systems.
- Develop methods for video understanding, motion prediction, trajectory prediction, and road-risk prediction.
- Build and evaluate models using large-scale driving datasets, simulation environments, and advanced training infrastructure.
- Define research questions from real-world needs and create measurable solutions.
- Run experiments, analyze failures, and adapt research direction quickly.
- Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and cross-functional teams while publishing and presenting findings at leading academic conferences.
Requirements
- Significant research experience in computer vision, machine learning, or a related field.
- Experience researching, training, and evaluating large models.
- Experience with video understanding, representation learning, world models, trajectory prediction, or autonomous driving.
- Ability to lead independent research with strong hands-on implementation skills.
- Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch, including model training and reliable experimental pipelines.
- Ability to use AI agents as an integral part of research, experimentation, analysis, and execution.
Nice to have
- PhD in a relevant field.
- Publications at CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, or ICML.
- Experience with simulation, closed-loop evaluation, retrieval, or distributed training.
- Experience turning research ideas into systems used in practice.
