Accelerator Senior Software Platform Engineer (Lyon)

Location: Lyon, France — hybrid, with up to 2 remote days and 3 on-site days per week

Salary: €64,000–€85,333 per year, plus short-term and collective variable compensation

What you will do

• Improve developer experience and reduce technical overhead for engineering squads and pods.
• Build reusable platform tools, including CLIs, libraries, infrastructure-as-code, and workflows.
• Prototype and deploy improved engineering standards and platform solutions.
• Create documentation and recommendations for building cloud-native solutions.
• Design and support complex APIs and help multiple technical teams adopt platform solutions.
• Advocate for solutions developed by the Accelerator Platform Team.

Requirements

• Experience working with cloud providers.
• Good understanding of JavaScript and Node.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Knowledge of building libraries, tools, and complex API systems involving networking, redundancy, security, and logging.
• Experience collaborating with multiple teams to drive alignment and results.
• Mandatory English proficiency for collaboration in an international team.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of transversal activities such as security, optimization, and process improvement.
• 6+ years of experience, although the experience threshold is described as non-blocking.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Experience in healthcare or an innovative environment.
