Accounting & Tax Specialist

Location: Almaty, Kazakhstan; hybrid schedule. Candidates must be based in Almaty or ready to relocate to Almaty with company support.

Salary: from 800,000 KZT gross monthly. Additional benefits include a Flex4Me allowance of 400,000 KZT gross yearly and a lunch and flexibility allowance of 35,000 KZT net monthly.

What you will do

• Prepare local financial statements, statistical reports, and expense analyses for Corporate Income Tax calculations.
• Calculate direct taxes and analyze the deductibility of expenses for Corporate Income Tax purposes.
• Advise the Sales team on tax, accounting, and local compliance matters.
• Control the end-to-end payment process and manage Sales contract compliance.
• Collect and validate data for US GAAP reporting and coordinate external audits.
• Coordinate calendar year-end closing, including stakeholder communication and accruals.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of accounting, tax law, and audit.
• At least 1 year of relevant professional experience.
• Any higher education degree.
• Good command of English at Intermediate/B1 level or higher.
• Availability for full-time work, 40 hours per week, in Almaty.
