QA Engineer - Backend (Golang) Middle (Identity)

Location: Worldwide, with remote work available; the team works within the GMT+1 to GMT+5 time zone

What you will do

• Analyze requirements, create test scenarios, and prepare test data.
• Perform mostly automated acceptance and regression testing.
• Write and maintain automated tests in Go and develop the test project and framework.
• Detect, localize, and report defects using an issue-tracking system.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD and coordinate integration testing.
• Communicate with the product team during development and participate in releases.

Requirements

• Experience creating and maintaining test documentation.
• Programming experience in Go, Java, Kotlin, or Python, plus hands-on backend test automation.
• Experience with Git or another version-control system, SQL, Kafka, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated tests and supporting test frameworks.
• Experience coordinating integration testing processes.
• B1 or higher English proficiency for communication with an international team.

Nice to have

• Experience with gRPC and Protobuf.
• Experience with Allure Go and Gomega.
• Load-testing experience.
• Knowledge of software design patterns.
