What you will do

• Plan and perform systematic studies on innovative formulation concepts for biologic drug products.
• Design, execute, and evaluate experiments related to co-formulation, unit operations, and in-process controls.
• Identify risks and root causes in biologic drug product development and manufacturing projects.
• Analyze experimental data statistically and define appropriate follow-up strategies.
• Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present results at internal panels and scientific conferences.
• Collaborate with international multidisciplinary teams while maintaining scientific and laboratory safety standards.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in pharmaceutical technology, biochemistry, or a related discipline.
• Background in parenteral or biological processing is preferred.
• Knowledge of aseptic handling techniques.
• Ability to independently design and conduct experiments, evaluate data, and interpret results.
• Hands-on ability to work with complex laboratory equipment and resolve technical problems.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with protein aggregation.
• Experience with analytical methods for detecting protein denaturation and aggregation.
• Experience detecting or characterizing particles in solution.
• German language skills.
• Scientific initiative and creativity in research or development.
