Clinical Independent Rater (CIR) – French Speaking

Location: Remote/Virtual within Canada; listed location: Kanata, Ontario, Canada. Part-time schedule of approximately 10–16 hours per month.

What you will do

• Complete orientation, training, calibration, and other required activities.
• Review case data and prepare relevant documents and scale items for rater discussions.
• Conduct live interactions with raters to provide guidance on assessment methodology and scoring.
• Evaluate assessment quality and support rater performance through functional assessments such as mock interviews.
• Complete assigned interactions on schedule and submit accurate documentation on time.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Psychiatric Nursing, Social Work, or an equivalent field; MD, DO, or PhD preferred.
• At least three years of experience administering psychiatric assessments, rating scales, or structured clinical interviews, specifically MINI and MADRS.
• At least three years of clinical experience with psychiatric populations.
• At least three years of experience administering scales in clinical research trials, excluding graduate or doctoral research.
• Native-level French proficiency and fluency in English are required.
• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, and Microsoft Office skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in CNS clinical trials.
• MD, DO, or PhD qualification.
