Senior Director, Assistant General Counsel Market Access Legal

Location: Sleepy Hollow, New York, United States; onsite four days per week

What you will do

• Provide strategic legal advice to Market Access, Commercial, Marketing, Sales, Public Policy, Regulatory, and Compliance teams.
• Advise on market access strategy, payer and PBM strategies, government pricing, and commercial healthcare matters.
• Draft and negotiate payer, PBM, GPO, distribution, pharmacy, rebate, service, and other commercial agreements.
• Guide market access materials, government pricing reporting, and interactions with healthcare providers, distributors, pharmacies, payers, PBMs, and GPOs.
• Support product attorneys and Corporate Compliance on product-specific and market access issues.
• Maintain an independent, objective perspective while building strong partnerships with client organizations.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree and 10+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Licensed to practice law in New York or eligible for licensure as registered in-house counsel.
• Prior in-house healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology experience.
• Significant knowledge of market access, payer and PBM contracts, contract operations, and government pricing requirements.
• Strong understanding of the FDCA, False Claims Act, federal and state fraud and abuse laws, antitrust laws, and healthcare compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills.
