BXMA- Quantitative Strategy, Associate (Digital Assets)

Location: New York, United States

Expected annual base salary: $150,000–$175,000, plus discretionary bonuses and potential equity or other incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Source, evaluate, and invest in systematic trading and digital asset-focused hedge fund strategies across their life cycles.
• Meet with hedge fund managers and conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of investment strategies.
• Develop quantitative tools and strategic methods for generating investment ideas.
• Create bespoke quantitative models to identify and profit from inefficiencies across asset classes.
• Recommend investment styles based on current market conditions and future expectations.
• Build strategic partnerships with systematic hedge fund managers to develop bespoke investment opportunities.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong quantitative, coding, conceptual, and analytical skills, including Python.
• Strong financial modeling skills with MS Excel and presentation construction skills with MS PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and time management abilities, with a framework-oriented approach to problem solving.
• Passion for both investing and business building, alongside intellectual curiosity and an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and team-oriented approach with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
