Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Singapore; in-person opportunity. The role requires being based in the region and willingness to travel for customer engagements.

Compensation: $150K–$250K annually plus equity.

What you will do

• Own the technical side of the sales cycle, including discovery, solution design, demos, POCs/POVs, and technical objection handling in partnership with an Account Executive.
• Build and deliver working demos and prototypes on hirify.global's API for agents, research, search, and enrichment use cases.
• Run technical evaluations and expansions, identify new use cases, and support early customers through onboarding and initial implementation.
• Translate hirify.global's capabilities into clear use-case narratives for CTOs, engineers, and product managers.
• Feed recurring customer evaluation patterns back to product and engineering.
• Create reusable demos, integration patterns, and regional playbooks while representing hirify.global at technical workshops, meetups, and conferences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as solutions or sales engineering, solutions architecture, technical consulting, developer relations, or engineering with significant customer exposure.
• Strong technical depth with APIs and modern development, including Python or TypeScript; able to design integrations, build working demos, and debug live.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt explanations to different audiences.
• Familiarity with LLMs, RAG, agents, and how customers evaluate AI systems; able to define POC success criteria.
• Comfort with ambiguity, parallel evaluations, early-stage intensity, and changing responsibilities as the region grows.
• Must be based in the region and willing to travel for customer engagements.

Nice to have

• Experience owning technical evaluations at a developer-platform or API-first company that led to customers going live.
• Experience leading engineers, running enterprise evaluations, completing security questionnaires, or responding to RFPs.
• Hands-on LLM projects or additional regional languages for APJ markets.
