TL;DR
Manager - Enterprise Architecture (AI & Cloud): Defining and governing enterprise architecture strategy across core platforms, with an accent on cloud adoption, integration, data frameworks, security, and AI capabilities. Focus on designing scalable microservices and API-led solutions, governing architecture standards, and guiding large-scale implementations across delivery teams and vendors.

What you will do
- Define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap, principles, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Provide design authority for major programmes, reviewing system designs, integration patterns, data models, non-functional requirements, and AI-enabled components.
- Drive AWS cloud adoption and modern platform engineering practices, including containerisation, CI/CD, DevSecOps, scalability, resilience, and disaster recovery.
- Define integration and data architecture using APIs, event-driven architecture, messaging, data governance, lineage, and migration frameworks.
- Embed security-by-design across solutions, including IAM, OAuth2, SAML, PCI DSS, and data privacy controls.
- Guide business stakeholders, project managers, system integrators, vendors, and regional architecture teams through delivery governance and technical decisions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture roles.
- Experience defining architecture strategy and governing large-scale implementations.
- Expertise in microservices, API-first, event-driven architectures, and non-functional requirements.
- Working knowledge of Java with Spring Boot/Spring Cloud, JavaScript/TypeScript with Node, React or Angular, Python, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, CI/CD, DevSecOps, API gateways, Kafka, MuleSoft or similar platforms, data modelling, migration, and governance.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools, AI solution integration, IAM, PCI DSS, and data privacy requirements.
Nice to have
- Insurance industry experience.
- Experience working with Group or regional architecture teams.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, CKA, CDMP, PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL v4, CISSP, or CISM certification.
- Experience implementing or supporting AI-enabled automation, analytics, or intelligent workflows.
