Process Specialist - Virginia

Location: Petersburg, Virginia, United States; onsite manufacturing-site role. Requires standing for up to 12-hour shifts, handling equipment and supplies, working around hazardous materials and noise, and travelling up to 10%.

What you will do

• Provide process, technical, and strategic support as the department's site subject matter expert.
• Lead and support projects based on evolving business needs.
• Coach and mentor Process Professionals.
• Communicate with vendors, engineering firms, and other project stakeholders.
• Complete project tasks within cost, quality, and schedule requirements.
• Present project status updates to senior management.

Requirements

• Experience supporting process and technical activities in a manufacturing or chemical API environment.
• Ability to operate and inspect manufacturing equipment and handle equipment or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds.
• Ability to work onsite in a facility environment, including elevated heights, confined spaces, cold conditions, loud noise, and areas with odorous or hazardous materials.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours and use required protective equipment, including gloves and hearing protection.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and communicate project status to senior management.
