Labor Relations Counselor – Latin America (Labor Relations/Labor Law): Providing strategic guidance on complex labor relations issues, contract negotiations, employee relations, organizing campaigns, arbitrations, and government agency matters with an accent on Argentina-focused counsel and global labor relations strategy. Focus on negotiating collective agreements, resolving sensitive labor disputes, conducting complex legal research, and delivering labor relations training while traveling domestically up to 40%.
Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina. Domestic travel of up to 40% may be required. Relocation and expatriate assignments will not be considered.

What you will do
- Provide strategic guidance and hands-on support on complex global labor relations issues, contract negotiations, employee relations, and organizing campaigns, with a focus on Argentina.
- Represent and advise operating units in labor arbitrations and matters involving government agencies.
- Support the execution of the global labor relations philosophy and partner with business stakeholders on labor strategy.
- Develop and facilitate labor relations training and mentorship programs.
- Contribute to compensation, disability management, and other HR project teams.
- Monitor labor relations trends and participate in external forums to share best practices across the organization.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in labor relations or labor law.
- Advanced English proficiency required.
- University degree required.
- Experience with labor relations, negotiations, employee counseling, dispute resolution, and diverse work groups.
- Ability to conduct complex legal research, data analysis, and prepare briefs, position statements, and leadership communications.
- Employment visa sponsorship is not available, and individuals on time-limited visa status will not be considered.
Nice to have
- University degree in law or labor relations.
- Leadership-level or national bargaining experience, as well as global labor relations experience.
- Project management expertise and experience advising on policy, contract administration, drug and alcohol matters, grievances, discipline, collective bargaining, and organizing campaigns.
