Senior Lead Java React Full Stack Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, delivery, and production support of scalable Java microservices and backend applications.
• Own end-to-end feature delivery, from requirements analysis and solution design through testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Design REST APIs, event-driven solutions, and integrations using Kafka, relational databases, SQL, and Hibernate.
• Drive cloud-native engineering practices, including CI/CD automation, Docker containerization, Kubernetes orchestration, AWS deployments, and release management.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture discussions, code reviews, mentoring, and engineering best practices.
• Improve reliability and performance through automated testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and observability.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Java 8+ and Enterprise Java technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, microservices, RESTful APIs, object-oriented design, software architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL optimization, Hibernate or other ORM frameworks, and automated unit and integration testing.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, Kafka or similar messaging platforms, and workflow scheduling tools such as Apache Airflow.
• Experience with CI/CD, application lifecycle management, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, troubleshooting, performance tuning, monitoring, and observability.
• Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills, plus basic front-end knowledge.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, banking, payments, or financial services.
• Production experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration at scale.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of high-throughput transaction processing and performance engineering.
