Business Intelligence & AI Analytics Intern

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; full-time, six-month internship based in Kuala Lumpur.

What you will do

• Support the development and enhancement of business intelligence dashboards and reports.
• Prepare, validate, and model data for analytics solutions.
• Translate business and analytics requirements into reporting solutions.
• Explore and help pilot AI- and GenAI-enabled analytics use cases.
• Document BI solutions, data definitions, best practices, and training materials.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, IT, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proficient in SQL, including writing, analyzing, and optimizing queries.
• Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with GenAI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI assistants.
• Strong spoken and written English; availability for the full six-month internship duration.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks and Power BI.
