QA Engineer II (BENCH) (Java/Selenium): Designing and executing manual and automated tests for client-side and web-based applications with an accent on test automation, regression coverage, and Agile collaboration. Focus on building and optimizing automation frameworks, implementing BDD scenarios with Cucumber, and mentoring junior QA team members.

What you will do
- Document and plan regression, integration, and automation test cases with product, business analysis, and Agile program teams.
- Write, execute, troubleshoot, and optimize automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Perform functional validation and sprint testing for client-side and web-based applications.
- Build automated test plans, identify and report defects, and collaborate with development teams on resolution.
- Lead scrum testing activities and promote collaboration across test teams.
- Guide and mentor junior team members on automation trends and practices.
Requirements
- 5–12 years of experience in testing, SDET, or development, with a mix of experience preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience with manual and automated testing frameworks and the testing life cycle.
- Excellent Java development skills, including object-oriented programming, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Maven, Cucumber, Jenkins, Git or Bitbucket, and BDD test development.
- Hands-on experience with functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.
Nice to have
- Experience with Gradle, Ansible, GitHub, GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or TeamCity.
- Previous software development experience.
