Layout & Piping Engineering Manager (E3D)

Location: Milan, Italy

Salary: €59,000 gross per year minimum; final compensation depends on level, skills, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Lead the Layout & Piping project engineering team and report to the Project Engineering Manager.
• Deliver engineering projects on time, within budget, and to a high quality standard while resolving gaps and interface issues.
• Integrate layout activities and manage the technical execution of piping and valves work packages.
• Prepare complete plant layout concepts covering process engineering, construction, electrical and instrumentation systems, control, and logistics.
• Coordinate layout data exchange with customers, consortium partners, suppliers, and engineers working across multiple locations.
• Coordinate civil engineering, fire protection, traffic management, and plant maintenance concepts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience designing complex plant layouts.
• Solid project execution experience and a problem-solving mindset.
• Experience with steel structure design, electrical layout engineering, and civil engineering.
• Working knowledge of E3D, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Autodesk Construction Cloud, 2D and 3D CAD methodology, and BIM methodology.
• Fluent English and Italian are required.
