SR CT Operartor (Broadcast Operations): Operating and monitoring the ingest, playout, and live transmission chain for SportyNet’s 24/7 broadcast operation with an accent on signal integrity, content validation, and technical quality control. Focus on identifying transmission faults, verifying audio and video standards, and coordinating stable live feeds with production, programming, MCR, and engineering teams.

What you will do

  • Ingest and organize content from production teams, partners, rights holders, and commercial clients.
  • Validate video, audio, metadata, content versions, durations, playlists, and scheduled assets before playout.
  • Monitor on-air signals and internal feeds, performing quality checks for audio, video, loudness, synchronization, subtitles, and transmission stability.
  • Support live feed reception and monitoring for matches, shows, and remote productions, coordinating with MCR, production, programming, and engineering.
  • Respond to interruptions, playout errors, ingest failures, and technical incidents; open tickets and follow up with engineering.
  • Maintain file management, archives, content logs, SOPs, system tests, and workflow improvements.

Requirements

  • Degree or technical training in broadcasting, audiovisual production, engineering, media technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in TV operations, ingest, quality control, playout, or MCR is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of ingest systems, playout automation, media servers, and broadcast transmission workflows.
  • Understanding of video and audio standards, including SDI, IP, codecs, loudness, and synchronization.
  • Basic understanding of live contribution protocols such as SRT, RTMP, and HLS.
  • Intermediate English required for reading technical documentation. Strong attention to detail, rapid fault identification, communication, organization, and ability to work under pressure are required.
