What you will do

• Write 4–5 gaming articles per day, with a strong focus on guides and informational content.
• Pitch topics based on gaming trends, news cycles, appropriate research tools, and hands-on gameplay.
• Cover games from start to finish and identify relevant guide and wiki-style topics.
• Monitor breaking news and develop short-form features with distinctive angles.
• Write articles from editorial pitches while prioritizing factual accuracy.
• Communicate with editorial staff and immerse yourself in the communities of the games covered.

Requirements

• Proven experience covering gaming news and guides, with links to previous work.
• High-standard written English and the ability to produce clean copy.
• Familiarity with WordPress, Trello, Slack, and other common industry tools.
• Ability to create or identify attention-grabbing featured images.
• Strong curiosity about how players approach games and the ability to anticipate their content needs.
