Senior Associate, Accounting

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain core accounting processes covering journal entries, general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Prepare and post journal entries, support timely period close activities, and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Prepare profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and supporting schedules.
• Review financial reporting requirements and regulations to support compliance.
• Monitor and prepare monthly revenue and expenditure reports for projects or business units.
• Investigate accounting variances and data discrepancies while supporting audits, controls, and financial reviews.

Requirements

• Experience with core accounting functions, including general ledger, journal entries, or financial close.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Experience preparing or supporting financial statements and reconciliations.
• Ability to analyze financial data and identify variances or issues.
• Experience using accounting systems and Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow accounting controls and procedures.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting month-end or year-end close activities.
• Exposure to audit support or internal control processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience working in a large or matrixed organization.
