What you will do
- Execute simple to moderate transactional buying activities for assigned countries, regions, business areas, product categories, or plants.
- Manage purchase orders from requisition through completion and maintain accurate pricing and purchasing data.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support on-time delivery and resolve purchase-order issues.
- Prepare purchasing reports, respond to inquiries, and resolve match exceptions and GR/IR issues.
- Follow sourcing policies, procurement business rules, and SOX controls.
- Support process improvement, automation, LSS projects, Procurement Service Center events, and global procurement activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Typically 1–2 years of experience in sourcing or transactional procurement.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages may be required depending on the assignment.
- Strong communication, customer service, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset and focus on quality.
- Ability to work flexible hours to support global procurement requirements.
