Location: Huntsville, United States
Salary: $106,645.76–$136,515.59 annually, plus a yearly discretionary bonus.

What you will do
- Lead Agile software development for security applications and infrastructure enhancements.
- Design and develop scalable software applications, secure hardware and software systems, and infrastructure platforms.
- Establish API integrations and build data pipelines for backend and IoT systems.
- Conduct secure code reviews, vulnerability assessments, software security testing, and penetration testing.
- Implement cybersecurity best practices aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, and other industry standards.
- Respond to security incidents, document architectures and security protocols, and consult with internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software development, code security analysis, and cybersecurity experience.
- Proficiency in Python, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with .NET, Node, React, Docker, Django, Linux CLI, unit testing, and version control with Git.
- Strong knowledge of application, hardware, website, and network security testing, as well as security protocols and encryption standards including SSL/TLS, OAuth, AES-256, and RSA.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Strong technical communication, documentation, presentation, collaboration, and project management skills.
Nice to have
- Linux-based or security-focused certification.
- CompTIA PenTest+ certification.
- Experience with static and dynamic security analysis tools.
- Cybersecurity publications, open-source contributions, or speaking engagements.
- Experience mentoring junior developers and promoting security awareness.
