TL;DR
Lead Specialist - Consolidated Expense Management (Finance): Building and managing consolidated expense reporting, forecasting, and chargeback models for Transamerica’s US Headquarters and subsidiaries with an accent on budgeting, variance analysis, financial modeling, and tax compliance. Focus on investigating expense trends, allocating costs across subsidiaries, and producing leadership-ready financial insights.

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; hybrid schedule with in-office attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Salary: $128,000–$170,000 annually, plus potential eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

  • Build and run a recurring monthly expense results process for the US Headquarters.
  • Review expenses, drivers, variances, and forecasts with budget owners and business leaders.
  • Consolidate expenses across hirify.global Inc. subsidiaries and coordinate timely reporting with subsidiary finance teams.
  • Develop and maintain expense consolidation models, reporting tools, and process documentation.
  • Prepare annual chargeback calculations, supporting schedules, and executive-level summaries.
  • Support financial close, budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
  • Ten years of financial analysis experience, including experience in insurance, financial services, or investment management.
  • Expert knowledge of accounting and finance, with strong budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, prioritization, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, and financial business systems.
  • Ability to work the required hybrid schedule in Philadelphia.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with foreign subsidiaries.
  • Experience with Anaplan, Essbase, and Oracle.
  • CPA certification or an advanced degree.
