is a new AAA game studio building a best-in-class game in Leamington Spa.
What you will do
- Develop, maintain, and improve tools supporting the creation and implementation of high-quality vehicle content.
- Collaborate with Vehicle Artists, Technical Artists, and Engineers to resolve technical problems across the vehicle pipeline.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, productivity, reliability, and accessibility.
- Share knowledge, mentor engineers, and promote high-quality engineering practices.
Requirements
- Experience working as a Tools Engineer on one or more AAA titles.
- Knowledge of common DCC tools, including 3ds Max, Maya, Substance Suite, and Houdini.
- Solid understanding of code architecture, maintainability, and software development best practices.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems across content creation pipelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
- Passion for gaming, game development, and high-quality vehicle content.
Nice to have
- Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5 on a AAA title.
- Experience developing tools or pipelines for vehicles or complex hard-surface content.
- Experience mentoring engineers and planning and delivering large bodies of work across the project lifecycle.
