Assistant Director, Sales & Operations Execution Planning (Pharmaceutical Supply Chain)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, USA or Dublin, Ireland; onsite role

Salary: $97,090–$141,725 for Boston, MA/USA candidates; Dublin compensation is based on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Execute short-term supply plans supporting customer demand, clinical requirements, and inventory targets.
• Coordinate clinical supply planning, inventory availability, and shipments to clinical depots and study sites.
• Manage operational relationships with external manufacturing and supply partners, including vendor reviews and performance metrics.
• Monitor supply risks, shortages, delays, batch status, material flow, and inventory visibility across the end-to-end supply chain.
• Lead mitigation plans, corrective actions, supply governance meetings, and cross-functional issue resolution.
• Support inventory reconciliations, financial reporting, and collaboration with Quality, Finance, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Logistics, and Commercial teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in supply chain planning, operations planning, materials management, or logistics.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and planning systems such as SAP IBP.
• Strong Excel, data analysis, inventory management, supply planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and the ability to influence internal and external partners without direct authority.
• Experience with contract manufacturing organizations and pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or other regulated manufacturing environments is preferred.
