What you will do
- Design and build software that discovers, classifies, and safeguards sensitive data across diverse environments and platforms.
- Lead platform capabilities through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
- Develop reliable, scalable, high-performing backend and distributed systems.
- Integrate new data sources, storage systems, and services.
- Solve challenges involving scale, concurrency, performance, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer-facing teams while contributing to architecture and engineering standards.
Requirements
- Professional experience developing software in Java.
- Experience building backend or distributed systems that operate reliably at scale.
- Understanding of concurrency, performance optimization, fault tolerance, and system reliability.
- Strong analytical, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience delivering solutions from design through production deployment and ongoing support.
- Availability to work primarily from the Prague office in accordance with company policies.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms, storage systems, or distributed architectures.
- Background in large-scale data processing, data discovery, or security-focused platforms.
- Experience with data protection, privacy, governance, or cybersecurity products.
