Software Engineer II (ServiceNow)

Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India; onsite Monday through Thursday, with a flexible work location on Fridays

What you will do

• Develop features, capabilities, and new components for Nuvolo platform modules.
• Analyze requirements, extend existing applications, test functionality, and troubleshoot bugs.
• Build configurable, modular, intuitive, and easy-to-use software across web technologies.
• Collaborate with software engineers, quality engineers, product owners, and architects to deliver product experiences.
• Follow engineering and release practices, demonstrate products to stakeholders, and provide technical support during design.
• Create technical documentation and identify best practices for new capabilities.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience developing ServiceNow scoped applications, including client-side and server-side scripting.
• Experience with ServiceNow UI pages, UI macros, and API development.
• Strong JavaScript knowledge, design patterns, semantic HTML, and CSS.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Scrum-based application development lifecycles, including requirements, quality assurance, design, implementation, issue tracking, version control, and deployment.

Nice to have

• React and TypeScript knowledge.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification.
• Mobile web application experience and knowledge of web accessibility guidelines.
• DevOps tools experience.
• Knowledge of calculus, algebra, or statistics.
