D365 F&O Finance Business Analyst - International (D365 F&O)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; hybrid workplace. Regular collaboration with European and Asian offices during their business hours is required.

Salary: $140,000–$155,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Own functional support for D365 F&O finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash & Bank Management, Fixed Assets, and Budgeting.
• Gather finance requirements, analyze processes, and translate business needs into D365 configurations and solutions.
• Configure and maintain multiple legal entities, charts of accounts, fiscal calendars, financial dimensions, intercompany processes, eliminations, and consolidated reporting.
• Manage multi-currency configurations, exchange rates, foreign-currency revaluation, translation, and dual-currency reporting.
• Lead European e-invoicing compliance, VAT, reverse charge, Intrastat, and applicable Asia-Pacific localization and tax requirements.
• Support international finance teams, regional rollouts, user training, system updates, regression testing, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of hands-on functional experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations finance modules.
• Experience configuring multiple legal entities, intercompany accounting, consolidated reporting, and shared services.
• Experience with multi-currency setup, exchange-rate management, and foreign-currency revaluation.
• Working knowledge of European e-invoicing requirements and D365 Electronic Invoicing or equivalent solutions.
• Strong understanding of VAT, Intrastat, accounting principles, financial reporting, and European regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills across finance and IT.

Nice to have

• Experience with Asia-Pacific finance operations, localization, and withholding-tax configuration.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate certification or equivalent.
• Familiarity with D365 Financial Reporting, Management Reporter, Power BI financial dashboards, global address book, and shared data across legal entities.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial finance, including standard costing, production variance analysis, or project accounting.
• Knowledge of ITIL or similar IT service-management frameworks.
