Sr. Director, Program Management

Location: Simi Valley, California, United States; onsite office environment. Applicants must qualify as a U.S. person under ITAR/EAR requirements; U.S. citizenship is required for some contracts.

Salary: $187,000–$299,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead complex UAS and Loitering Munition Systems development programs from initiation through delivery.
• Formulate and execute master plans, schedules, budgets, project plans, and program deliverables.
• Direct and develop a Program Management Office team of approximately 5–8 Program and Project Managers.
• Lead proposal development, contract negotiation, contract compliance, bids, and cost estimates.
• Assess feasibility, risks, resources, and market demand while recommending actions for at-risk programs.
• Develop Program Management policies, standards, tools, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of relevant program management experience, including at least 3 years in people leadership.
• 8+ years of direct management experience with Program or Project Managers.
• Experience leading major functions or product areas and planning large, complex programs with five or more concurrent projects.
• Expertise in controls planning, staffing, budgeting, strategic planning, negotiation, design principles, mathematics, and cross-functional leadership.
• Must meet applicable U.S. person, export-license, or citizenship requirements under ITAR/EAR.

Nice to have

• MS in Engineering or an MBA.
