Executive Director, Institutional Effectiveness, Research, and Planning

What you will do

• Provide executive leadership for institutional effectiveness, accreditation, assessment, institutional research, planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure timely collection of data and production of official reports for federal, state, system, and university requirements.
• Lead institutional research involving student success, curriculum development, distance education, enrollment forecasting, and executive reporting.
• Develop data-access tools and maintain longitudinal databases to support planning and decision-making.
• Coordinate institutional and programmatic accreditation activities with academic leadership.
• Oversee departmental budgets, fiscal operations, daily office activities, and staff supervision.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in an applicable field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 8 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications.
• Ability to multitask, collaborate, communicate effectively, maintain confidentiality, travel, and work beyond normal office hours.
• Employment is contingent on credential verification and completion of a criminal history investigation.

Nice to have

• Doctoral degree in an applicable field.
• 10 years of related experience and federal or state reporting experience.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, and institutional assessment or accreditation software such as AEFIS or Taskstream.
