Environment Set Dressing Trainee (Animation)

Location: Madrid, Spain; onsite internship for at least 3 months, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week

What you will do

• Create environment distributions using scattering tools such as Houdini or similar software.
• Request work revisions, meet technical requirements and complete quality-control checks before passing work downstream.
• Build basic knowledge of the studio pipeline and manage assigned production tasks, notes, and tickets.
• Learn to meet deadlines and communicate problems or delays when they arise.
• Follow Supervisor and Lead guidance while supporting other team members.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in the final year of an accredited Associate, Bachelor’s, or Master’s program.
• Available for at least 3 months onsite in Madrid, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.
• Basic understanding of composition.
• Experience creating distributions with Houdini or similar scattering tools.
• Good knowledge of software used for the production, usually Maya and Houdini.
• Self-starter with strong writing and critical-thinking skills, attention to detail, multitasking ability, and a collaborative approach.

Nice to have

• High level of English.
• Knowledge of Spanish.
• Strong interest in animation and technology.
