provides staffing support for a client operating an analytical toxicology laboratory in the diagnostics industry.
What you will do
- Perform routine sample preparation, extraction, processing, and analytical testing using LC-MS/MS instrumentation.
- Prepare reagents, standards, controls, calibration solutions, and sample dilutions, including accurate microliter pipetting.
- Execute approved analytical methods and review data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Maintain laboratory records, notebooks, and electronic documentation.
- Assist with instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, performance checks, investigations, deviations, and corrective actions.
- Support inventory management, laboratory organization, safety procedures, and Quality Management System activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Toxicology, or a related scientific discipline.
- 0–2 years of analytical laboratory experience.
- Basic understanding of chromatographic and mass spectrometry techniques.
- Strong pipetting skills and experience preparing standards, controls, reagents, and sample dilutions.
- Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate laboratory documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to work in a laboratory environment, lift up to 25 pounds, and wear required PPE.
Nice to have
- Experience in toxicology, pharmaceutical, environmental, diagnostics, or CRO laboratories.
- Hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS systems.
- Knowledge of GMP, GLP, or other regulated laboratory environments.
