Chemical Laboratory Technician (Printed Circuit Boards)

Location: Onsite at 6457 Fly Rd, East Syracuse, NY 13057, United States. The regular schedule is 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.; training on 1st shift is required.

Salary: $45,354–$71,688 per year. An annual or quarterly bonus may apply, and alternative shifts may be eligible for a shift premium.

What you will do

• Perform chemical analysis of process baths using standard titration methods, CVS, UV/VIS, and atomic absorption spectroscopy.
• Make chemical additions and bath make-ups while keeping chemical baths within required parameters.
• Enter data and complete departmental documentation, logs, and paperwork accurately.
• Requisition chemicals and laboratory equipment from shipping.
• Maintain a safe, neat, and orderly laboratory and manufacturing workplace.
• Communicate station events and activities to supervisors and coworkers.

Requirements

• Experience with printed circuit board bath analysis and wet laboratory procedures.
• Working knowledge of CVS, UV/VIS, atomic absorption spectroscopy, and statistical process control.
• Chemistry background is desirable.
• Ability to work with process chemicals and lift more than 50 pounds.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as necessary to perform the job.
• Access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.
