Senior Electrical Engineer (PCB & Circuit Design)

Location: Hybrid, three days onsite at N7650 County Rd LS, Sheboygan, Wisconsin, United States. Relocation assistance is available.

Salary: $89,800–$114,100 per year.

What you will do

• Design and develop electronic circuit board assemblies for industrial applications, meeting electrical, mechanical, environmental, regulatory, and certification requirements.
• Create and maintain moderate-complexity PCB layouts, including high-speed and mixed-signal designs.
• Establish circuit-design best practices covering DFM, DfE, risk assessment, and electronic manufacturing standards.
• Maintain schematics, layouts, production drawings, design data packages, component libraries, footprints, and approved vendor lists.
• Participate in design reviews and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, vendors, and external partners.
• Debug circuits and systems with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and digital multimeters, and resolve production, component obsolescence, and vendor-change issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• At least four years of circuit-board design experience for industrial controllers.
• Experience with FCC, UL, CSA, and CE compliance.
• Experience designing high-speed circuits with controlled-impedance layouts for memory buses and microprocessors.
• Ability to optimize EMC performance and apply current PCB design and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610, DFM, and DfE principles, together with strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
