Head of Agroscience Services Field Europe (Agriculture)

Location: 75223 Niefern-Öschelbronn, Germany; based near one of the European field sites and willing to travel 40–60% (2–3 days per week)

What you will do

• Define and execute the European Agroscience Services Field strategy.
• Drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and strategic key-account development.
• Shape the service portfolio in response to regulatory changes, customer needs, and market trends.
• Own P&L performance, including revenue, margins, cost control, and capital discipline.
• Improve operational performance and scalable service delivery across laboratories, countries, and sites.
• Develop leaders, coach management talent, and support succession planning across the network.

Requirements

• MSc degree in agriculture or a related field; an MBA is advantageous.
• More than 10 years of experience leading teams and managing full P&L responsibility.
• Commercial and customer-facing experience, preferably in agricultural services.
• Fluent English at negotiation level, spoken and written.
• Experience in international networks and cross-cultural environments, with strong transformational and inclusive leadership skills.
• Deep understanding of agriculture, proximity to one of the sites, and willingness to travel 40–60%.

Nice to have

• MBA qualification.
• Experience in the seed business.
