Operations Representative (German and English Speaking)

What you will do

• Process incoming travel and temporary working incapacity insurance claims according to policy conditions.
• Act as the first point of contact for clients, policyholders, claimants, and relevant third parties.
• Coordinate claim files with medical advisors, claimants, HR departments, client managers, and other stakeholders.
• Manage working-incapacity overviews and maintain professional relationships with clients and third parties.
• Record claim data accurately and prepare reports for finance, client managers, and clients.
• Answer questions about policy conditions by email and phone in multiple languages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, insurance, communication, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent German and English required.
• Strong numerical, analytical, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with an adaptable and responsible approach.
• Results-oriented and eager to learn.

Nice to have

• Experience with non-medical claims, such as life or travel insurance.
• Knowledge of Dutch or French.
