User Experience Internship - Summer 2027 (UX research and interface design): Conducting user research, usability studies, interviews, and surveys while developing information architecture and prototypes for web interactions with an accent on usability, interface design, and collaborative project work. Focus on analyzing user feedback, structuring web experiences, and creating visual solutions with prototyping and graphics software.
Location: Lansing, Michigan; in person 5 days per week
Pay rate: $18.00 per hour starting rate

What you will do
- Review project assignments with management and project teams.
- Conduct and analyze user research, including usability studies, interviews, and surveys.
- Develop information architecture for web development and user interactions.
- Work with prototyping and graphics software.
- Support additional assignments within the department as needed.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in college and entering the junior or senior year for the summer 2027 internship.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams.
- Understanding of CSS, HTML/XHTML, XML, JavaScript, image editing and production, interface design, usability testing, and information architecture.
- Must be able to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
