Fire Service Specialist (SCBA & Fire Solutions): Providing technical sales expertise, customer support, and product training for SCBA and fire safety solutions across Alberta with an accent on distributor enablement, technical product knowledge, and industry engagement. Focus on developing targeted sales opportunities, representing products at fire service events, preparing commercial proposals, and analyzing competitive offerings and market forecasts.
Location: Remote, based in Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Sales territory: Alberta. Up to 75% domestic travel and some overnight travel may be required. Relocation assistance may be authorized.
Salary: CAD 108,639–132,781 annually, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do
- Provide technical expertise and support for SCBA and fire safety products to customers, distributors, employees, and product development teams.
- Develop sales opportunities for targeted user segments across the Alberta territory.
- Train and educate authorized distributors on products and sales approaches.
- Represent and Scott Safety at trade associations, industry meetings, fire schools, combat challenges, and conferences.
- Prepare and execute sales proposals, contracts, letters, and customer correspondence.
- Report on competitive offerings, pricing, market information, bookings, shipments, and new product developments.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or higher.
- At least three years of safety or industrial experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
- At least one year of experience with CRM and Microsoft and iOS applications.
- Current, valid driver's license and ability to drive a company vehicle; motor vehicle history will be reviewed before and during employment.
- Availability for extensive domestic travel within Alberta and Canada.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree.
- Commercial experience with technical products and five years of safety or industrial sales experience.
- Experience representing manufacturers in the Canadian Fire Service industry.
- Interpersonal selling, negotiation, public speaking, project leadership, and strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience managing distribution partners.
