GenAI Engineer / AI Agent Engineer (AI Foundry & Copilot Studio)

hirify.global is hiring an engineer to build enterprise GenAI agents and workflows.

What you will do

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents with AI Foundry and Copilot Studio for business use cases.
• Implement tool and function calling, multi-step planning, task decomposition, memory, guardrails, structured outputs, approval loops, and human-in-the-loop escalation.
• Build and optimize RAG pipelines covering document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector search, reranking, grounding, citations, and source traceability.
• Integrate agents with REST APIs, databases, microservices, message queues, internal tools, and event-driven services.
• Create GenAI evaluation frameworks, regression tests, observability, agent tracing, tool-call logging, and latency and cost metrics.
• Apply access controls, secrets management, PII handling, auditability, security, compliance, and governance practices.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of software engineering experience with Python, Java, TypeScript, or a similar language, including production deployments.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents and workflows in AI Foundry and Copilot Studio.
• Strong knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, system prompts, structured JSON outputs, function calling, and safety patterns.
• Solid experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases or search, chunking, reranking, and grounding techniques.
• Experience integrating GenAI solutions with REST APIs, microservices, message queues, and databases.
• Knowledge of unit and integration testing, CI/CD, code reviews, documentation, containerization, monitoring, and performance optimization.

Nice to have

• Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or AutoGen-style orchestration.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, or open-source model deployment patterns.
• Exposure to enterprise AI governance and compliance, including data classification, audit logging, and model risk management.
