Sr Applications Developer (PHP/Java)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and support enterprise software applications.
• Integrate, transform, and update data between systems using integration software.
• Analyze business application needs and recommend designs for new and existing systems.
• Develop RESTful integrations, reports, documentation, diagrams, and end-user specifications.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and maintain service integrity and SLAs.
• Mentor and provide technical direction to application developers and other IT staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, plus at least four years of software programming experience.
• 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise web applications.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, Java, Yii 2, SQL, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with relational databases, query optimization, indexing, stored procedures, performance tuning, RESTful APIs, and web services.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, and CSS3, plus experience integrating third-party and enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with SSO, OAuth, Active Directory, LDAP, role-based access controls, Linux, Windows servers, and Microsoft Office tools.

• Experience modernizing legacy applications and participating in cloud migration initiatives.
