AI & Data Scientist (AI/data science): Developing AI, machine learning and data science solutions for quality operations and scientific decision-making with an accent on enterprise data architecture, laboratory and manufacturing data pipelines, and intelligent automation. Focus on building scalable pipelines, deploying AI-enabled tools and agents, analyzing quality-system trends, and ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.
Location: Wilmington, Delaware, United States; on-site role

What you will do
- Structure, harmonize and manage data across Global Technical Quality systems, including LIMS, SAP, SharePoint and other digital platforms.
- Develop and implement data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions for quality processes and scientific decision-making.
- Build and maintain scalable pipelines for structured and unstructured laboratory, manufacturing and technical datasets.
- Design and deploy AI-enabled tools, intelligent agents and automated workflows to improve productivity and technical operations.
- Perform statistical analyses to identify trends, deviations and continuous-improvement opportunities.
- Partner with Research & Development, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs and Global Quality Assurance teams while ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in data science, analytics, data engineering or digital transformation.
- Strong expertise in data architecture, data modeling and modern data science methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and data integration, transformation and automation tools.
- Experience developing enterprise data pipelines and working with AI, machine learning, generative AI and intelligent agents.
- Experience with enterprise platforms such as LIMS, SAP, SharePoint and Microsoft 365, plus strong statistical analysis, visualization and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Analytics, Data Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in biotechnology, biochemistry, scientific research or laboratory environments.
- Experience developing Microsoft Copilot experiences, knowledge bases, agentic workflows and automation platforms.
