Salary: $72,400–$90,500 per year, depending on experience and location

What you will do

  • Support gas engineering activities across technical services, system planning, facility design, construction, and maintenance standards.
  • Assist with short- and long-term projects for safe and reliable gas distribution system operations.
  • Work with gate and regulator station equipment and the design and construction of gas facilities.
  • Perform engineering analysis, modeling, calculations, and economic evaluations of alternatives.
  • Prepare business cases and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Review engineering work and documentation for compliance with company standards, specifications, contracts, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering, a related field, and/or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of engineering planning, operations, design, construction, and practical engineering application.
  • Ability to document and interpret engineering documentation.
  • Understanding of local, state, and federal regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work in the Pittsfield, Massachusetts office.
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United States and comply with applicable immigration requirements.
