Senior Software Engineer (C#/Angular)

Location: Prishtina, Kosovo; office-based or hybrid options available.

What you will do

• Build and maintain a large-scale data processing and analytics system for shipment monitoring, analysis, and predictions.
• Contribute across the software development lifecycle, including responsive web applications, APIs, databases, coding, and testing.
• Lead by example through code reviews, pair programming, mentorship, and technical guidance.
• Coordinate the team's efforts in developing data processing and analytics capabilities.
• Collaborate with coworkers and remote peers working across different time zones.

Requirements

• 5+ years of successful software engineering experience.
• Experience with big data streaming platforms such as AWS Kinesis or Apache Kafka.
• Experience developing multi-tier web applications in AWS hosting environments.
• Proficiency with server-side languages such as C# and front-end frameworks such as Angular.
• Familiarity with SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL databases.
• Strong interest in learning, teaching, collaboration, and mentoring.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes for containerized applications.
• Experience with Elasticsearch or other distributed search and analytics engines.
• Experience collaborating with Data Scientists to bring business insights into products.
• Deep knowledge of SQL Server database design, T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization.
