What you will do
- Extract fragrances from consumer products using diverse analytical techniques.
- Conduct GC/MS profiling and characterize fragrance raw materials.
- Operate and maintain high-throughput analytical workflows and robotic systems.
- Generate structured, uniform datasets for correlations, market understanding, and AI-driven fragrance design.
- Drive automation strategies that improve analytical efficiency and reproducibility.
- Develop intellectual property and present findings to cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Masterβs degree in Analytical Chemistry or a closely related scientific field; a PhD is preferred.
- At least 7 years of analytical chemistry experience in fragrance, consumer goods, biotech, pharma, or a related industry.
- Experience designing experiments and solving complex analytical challenges.
- Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting GC/MS systems.
- Knowledge of fragrance composition, essential oils, aroma chemicals, and specialty bases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.
