TL;DR
Community & Events Manager (Turkey) (Crypto): Planning and delivering offline community activations, local content collaborations, and user-facing engagement initiatives in Turkey with an accent on large-scale events, local partnerships, and KOL coordination. Focus on managing event logistics and budgets, building creator ecosystems, tracking engagement KPIs, and translating Turkish user insights into growth opportunities.

Location: Türkiye, Istanbul; full-time onsite or remote

What you will do

  • Plan and execute meetups, workshops, sponsorship activations, and flagship events from end to end.
  • Manage venues, speakers, partners, suppliers, logistics, budgets, attendance, feedback, and on-site delivery.
  • Build partnerships with local communities, universities, creators, KOLs, gaming communities, youth groups, and other relevant networks.
  • Coordinate creator and KOL collaborations, including onboarding, briefing, campaign execution, and performance follow-up.
  • Develop local campaigns, competitions, and educational initiatives that support user acquisition and engagement.
  • Manage community SWAG inventory, suppliers, warehouse stock, distribution, KPIs, reporting, and post-event insights.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in event marketing, community activations, local marketing, creator management, or related roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience organizing offline events, including large-scale or flagship events.
  • Experience with budget management, supplier coordination, cost tracking, and spending discipline.
  • Strong understanding of the Turkish market, local culture, and content ecosystem.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Fluent Turkish and English required.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing KOLs, creators, or local content partnerships.
  • Experience in crypto, fintech, gaming, entertainment, or internet/platform businesses.
